For over 25 years I had been visiting the magical San Juan Islands before moving here permanently in 2015. I am so grateful to be a member of this gifted healing community. My fit is natural to the islands; I love the outdoors, hiking, exploring, boating, fishing, crabbing and the lovely slow pace of island life.
I am a rock hound too, so beach walks with my dogs always fills my pockets with new treasures. My husband and I took the Naturalist Training with the Whale Museum and learned so many new things about the islands and the wildlife here. I enjoy discussing with others about the Salish Sea and how we can preserve it for lifetimes to come. I have taken courses with an herbalist in Oregon who has helped me to learn and understand Western Herbal-ism. I love to forage and collect plants from the environment, grow them in our gardens and then dry them for nutritive and medicinal teas. I am experimenting with making herbal oils to use in my work, utilizing plants and essential oils. It is great fun!
I resumed painting since moving here to San Juan Island and am working with acrylics; it is wonderful to find so many creative and talented people here. I also participate in the yoga community which is so important to my personal development and my spiritual connection. Writing and poetry are private passions which I most often use for reflection and personal growth. My family is a critical component to all the love and gratitude I feel on a daily basis, keeping me grounded, centered and blessed!
This healing vocation is an extension of all these interests and fuels my heart’s desire to be of service to others. I am a gifted intuitive and clairaudient. I bring Light to all I do.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
